Executive Committee
Club Chairman - Jim Huckett
The Chairman's role is often seen as the figurehead of many organisations. At Kings Hill FC we see the role more as a facilitator in ensuring the club ethos, well-being and future strategy are maintained and on target. We are very lucky to have a hard working and dedicated group of volunteers throughout the club which results in making the Chairman's and other Officers roles much easier to fulfill. The Chairman's aim is to encourage a partnership between the Management/Coaching volunteers, parents and more importantly players with the emphasis being placed on fun and development.
Club Secretary – Sue White
Sue took on the challenging role of Club Secretary at the end of 2009, a role which is a key function at the Club with a long list of tasks but in the main it is to ensure that administratively the Club is in order with the Kent FA, and the Maidstone and Invicta leagues. At the start of the season there are close to 250 players to register individually with these organisations and during the season numerous communications with the relevant leagues.
Throughout the season Sue along with other Committee members attends a number of league meetings and organises the running of the club through the Club’s team of managers and coaches.
Both of Sue’s sons play for KHFC.
Club Welfare Officer – Martin Bilton
Martin’s role as the Welfare Officer is primarily concerned with the safety of all the children whilst playing and or training with the football club. The welfare of the children is paramount. Martin is responsible for ensuring all the coaches are CRB checked and that all teams are run in accordance with the rules of the club.
The FA has launched their “Respect” campaign and Martin is responsible for rolling this out in the club. Finally, Martin assists with all our new coaches and our new year of under 6’s at the beginning of each season.
Club Treasurer – Neal Allison
As with all organisations it is important that they are run well financially, and Kings Hill FC is no exception. Neal keeps a careful hand on all the finances and ensures we receive the monies in that we are due and pay the people we need to. The club is financially secure but as we grow we will look to strengthen this position so as to continually offer the best we can to the children.
Neal is also responsible for ensuring all the teams have all the equipment needed from goals, footballs, corner flags, linesman flags and first aid kits.
Neal has been in Kingshill for 10 years plus and has 2 sons, the eldest played for Larkfield Boys and his youngest is currently in the under 8's
Neal is also Treasurer of the "Friends of Discovery School " PTA
Referee Coordinator - Nigel Warmington
Nigel is responsible for coordination of our own Club referees including arranging for parent and sibling referees, adult or junior, to undertake formal training and qualification. In support of its Charter status, the Club’s aim is to provide qualified referees for every age group for the competitive league teams. This season the Club has sponsored 5 new referees through training and qualification. If you would like more details about becoming a qualified referee and helping improve the quality of our children’s football please contact Nigel via the Club website.
